Arbutin, also known as arbutin, chemical formula c12h16o7, is a component extracted from the leaves of the rhododendron arbutin. It can inhibit the activity of tyrosinase in the body, prevent the formation of melanin, reduce the deposition of skin pigment, and remove pigmentation and freckles.
